Radcliff Labs offers the following guarantee to the original buyer only.
Buyer has 72 hours from the date of delivery to have Dog examined by their veterinarian. If Dog is found to have a debilitating congenital defect or any communicable disease by a licensed veterinarian within that 72 hour time period, and said veterinarian submits a written statement to the Seller, Seller will replace Dog with one of equal value or greater value if Buyer pays the difference.
We guarantee the puppy to be free of PRA (progressive retinal atrophy) for up to 1 year of age. If you suspect your puppy has PRA, it must be verified by a certified Canine Ophthalmologist with CERF.
We guarantee the puppy to be free of hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia for up to 26 months of age. If your veterinarian suspects a dysplasia problem, the x-ray showing this condition must be verified by the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals). This x-ray must be done before 26 months of age.
Before 26 months of age, if any of these conditions are verified, and the owner wants to keep the dog, we will have to receive a veterinarians letter confirming that the dog has been spayed or neutered. Upon receiving a veterinarians letter, Radcliff Labs, will initiate sending you a replacement puppy of comparable breeding when available. If the first puppy is to be returned to Radcliff Labs, it will have to have its AKC paperwork returned also. In any case, all veterinary, diagnostic, return, and replacement costs will be the owner's responsibility.
These guarantees are dependent upon demonstration that the puppy has received adequate care and nutrition. Anything that affects the development or well-being of the puppy, such as abuse, neglect, trauma (i.e. jumping in the air for frisbees), or being used for breeding will void these guarantees.
